Incredibly well preserved dinosaur leg -- with skin and everything!

This is not a joke. It's a charred leg of a Thescelosaurus found in the Tanis site. This site is believed to be preserving fossils that were killed right on the day of the meteor impact that killed the dinosaurs 66 million years ago! That claim hasn't been peer reviewed yet, so take that with a grain of salt, but we can still be amazed by the preservation of the site. There's also Triceratops skin impressions!

BBC will be doing a documentary on this on the 15th of this month! I'm definitely going to be watching it!
