After stumbling across this site I have found myself reminiscing about the good 'ole days. It's crazy how I was so eager to grow up and move past that time when Myspace was a thing. Now, I would give anything to be able to go back and relive those days from time to time. Not that I don't like my life now, but the times were simpler then.
This site is bittersweet because it recreates some of the memories of my youth, spending hours and hours updating my page layout and trying to pick my top friends, but it also reminds me that we can never truly go back, I will never speak to some of those friends again, and that I will never have a full head of hair like I did.
That is neither here nor there though. I have a beautiful fiancé, a good job, and my own place. Things are actually really good...it's odd that I still find myself wishing to be a middle schooler again. Oh well, it is what it is.

This site definitely is a blast from the past. Instead looking at it as a way to relive my own past though, I like to think of it more as a revival :3 We might be older now and don't talk to many of the people we used to, but this is an opportunity to experience what we loved, now :3
That is an awesome way to look at it! And honestly, that's how I feel most of the time, but it does hit you in the feels when you really stop to think about it.

Yeah, I can feel that :'D Sometimes it gets me a little down because THIS used to be the mainstream that everyone was on and interacting on, so it kinda gives me this odd feeling like I'm just sitting in a little bubble with just a few people while the rest of the online world feels completely different :'D It's not exactly a bad thing, but it does feel odd
