“You are woman to me”

I am to you what you see

what you decide

but that is not me

I am woman to me

in my hands

to my own senses 

washed away I am human

but this doesn’t wash away with water

in water I am the most woman I will ever be

and when I’m nothing again

I’ll remember 

until I am something else

until then I am woman to me
