So basically tone tags or tone indicators are these little things you put at the end of your sentences to let people know what tone you mean your message in. It's very helpful for autistic people cause we often have trouble reading tone and telling if people are being serious or joking or sarcastic but tone tags can be helpful to others as well!
Some examples are /j which means "joking" and /srs which means "serious" but here's a full list (there may be more than these but these are the ones I know of)
Oh! I see! I've never heard of this before, but that's actually pretty useful owo there's been a lot of times where people type without using emotes and I can't tell at all what they're meaning by things :'D

/rt or /rh = rhetorical question

/pc or /pos = positive connotation
/nc or /neg = negative connotation
/neu = neutral connotation
So here's an example of how you'd use them:
