I would appreciate if someone could explain to me why it is that emotional people when emotional listen to emotional music? I'm having a moment rn so the first thing i do is put on fourth of july by Sufjan Stevens CUS YEAH THATS GONNA IMPROVE MY MOOD! Idk i just always find it weird me and loads of people ik irl naturally go to the really sad shit when we're sad :/

idk if i understood u right but music is very connected to our feelings so idk sad music can make someone sad
Thats true but i meant more like shouldnt i listen to more upbeat happy music if im sad, but i instead listen to emotional stuff? idk its just all confusing lol

i dont think theres like a border what you should listen when ur sad, i listen to lemon demon when im sad lol
