Doing things alone

I don’t see why people make big deal of doing things alone. I honestly enjoy going out and eating alone. Most of my friends are either moved away or are working so 9 times out of 10 I end up doing things alone and that’s okay. I’ll see TikToks of people posting about “look how quirky I am eating in this Ihop by myself.” And post it for clout and I can’t help but think maybe that’s why your doing things alone. Granted I may get a little sad that it’s just me doing these things but in the end it’s relaxing cause I don’t have to put on a show or act a certain way I would if I were around others. I can just be quiet and enjoy my time and not have to carry a conversation. That’s why I enjoy doing things alone sometimes.
