moving out (not actually.)

I’ve been trying to plan how I can leave my family and be independent lately, I’ve been feeling very restrained by them , I want no I need to gain financial independence from now, only issue I have is i need to wait until I’m 18 to work without needing the stupid parent permit, I’ve been planning collage studies learning every skill possible to help me get to work and obtain a drivers license ASAP , first step is getting a phone and paying for it myself, that way they lose all right to check it as it is my belonging and my right , then I’ll save up further to get a backup finance Incase I have to move out sooner than I want, any of you moved out before? Any regrets? Things you think could help move out safely and securely ? I’m dying for any information I can grasp.
