Baby we both held onto something that will never be 

In my head I created this false love fantasy 

You clung onto pain and slowly made everyone your enemy 

Until you learn how to face the reality 

You’ll always be a rotten person, nothing more 

So much anger in your heart it seeped right to the core 

You are so very much… extremely insecure 

Always on guard, ready to charge into war 

So many people you claim to be your foe 

Living a full life, long forgetting about the past they’ve already let it go

Years gone by still filled with strife, you come back and try to take their glow 

Expecting them to think about you, but to them you’ve become No-one 

Step out of the shadows and into the sun 

Open your heart, connect the inner emotions and you’ll find the one
