Ranting (pt.3)

The worst thing about being apart of the lgbtq+ community and going by she/they pronouns is the criticism, stereotypes and homophobia behind it. For example, I identify as a lesbian, I've been out for 7 months now and I feel like I always was a lesbian but I never knew. Basically what I'm trying to say is...CAN PEOPLE STOP STEREOTYPING ME BASED ON MY SEXUALITY!!! I can't even keep count of how many times someone asked me "how do you know you like girls if you never dated one?" "so are you the boy of the relationship?" "so are you a stud or femme?" "how do you know you don't like boy's if you never dated one?" "your too young" "it's a phase" "your just a child" LIKE BRO ATP STFU! And the sad thing is most of these things said to me was from my own family like wtf? They are supposed to be the main ones who accept me...like for the people who think lesbians or other wlw have to date a girl before hand to know they like them are dumb asf (like yes you have to date a girl to be wlw obviously but if your just getting into the community or haven't dated yet, or your in the closet don't think you have to have experience to be wlw or Sapphic or bi or pan of lesbian or whatever tf you identify as) and are low-key homophobic bc there are literally straight girls and boys who say they're straight but have never dated a boy or girl LIKE HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR STRAIGHT IF YOU NEVER DATED THE OPPOSITE GENDER OMFG BRO!!!!?? And it's funny how I'm too young to know if I'm lesbian but straights are not too young to know if they're straight...like um...confusion??? AND THE WHOLE POINT OF A LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP IS FOR IT TO BE TWO WOMEN, OBVIOUSLY THERE IS NO MAN OF THE RELATIONSHIP THATS THE WHOLE POINT DUMBASS! And I honestly think "stud" "femme" "stem" and "dyke" are just stupid stereotypes like you don't have to be any of those to be a freaking lesbian you just have to be a goddamn women.  And bro...it's not a phase, I feel like most ppl say that because they may know or heard of ppl who used to date the same gender by don't anymore like you can't assume just bc one or two people called dating the same gender a phase for them that it applies to all members of the lgbtq+ community. And for ppl who say "your just a child" dude....your just an asshole but you never see me complaining. And also....if you think girls can't be lesbian bc they never dated a boy think again, bc you never see us saying straight guys cant be straight bc they never dated a boy, bc if we said that ya'll would get mad so please...respectfully stfu. And the same goes for straight females you would get defensive if I said how do you know your straight if you never dated a girl. And you don't have to date every gender in the book to know your sexuality or preferences. Now that I got that out of the way....time to talk about  my she/they struggles. Tbh I feel like people who go by "he/they" "she/they" or any other pronouns other then "she/her" or "he/him" get so much fucking hate bro...like real talk, you cannot tell me that people do not criticize others for going by different pronouns other then the common ones that most girls and boys seem to go by. Like I've literally had my sister come in my room and tell me I can't go by she and they because ppl who go by they are nonbinary and don't go by "she" pronouns. And honestly i just think she needs to educate herself and just respect the pronouns. You can go by whatever tf you want and you don't have to be nonbinary to go by they/them, you can identify as a male and go by they/them because at the end of the day gender does not equal pronouns. Just like how clothes have no gender, in my opinion. Wear whatever tf you want, go by whatever tf pronouns you want, label your sexuality or don't who tf cares it's your life and you can only ever make ur self happy :) I hope u guys enjoyed my rant about sexuality a and pronouns and I hope this helped you homophobes change ur opinion and educate yourself instead of being a ignorant asshole. Have a ga- I mean good day :D
