A Poem about me, what else

I am myself. They said

be yourself and I

listened. Now I love

who I am in a world where

being myself is a negative.

Im asked

why I look and act the way I do, what I gain from it.

I say joy, but with it comes the pain

of knowing that my

surroundings will

never truly accept me

because I accept myself.

I love myself so much. I love

the world so much I just

want to feel it back sometimes, too.
