my favorite season

i was out on sunday with the homie and we were talking about seasons and i was mentioning how a few days earlier (the weird night i blogged about) i realized what my fav season is. in my quest to figure myself and my shit out this last year i have learned to not worry about the consequences of pouring all my love into everything around me all the time. uk the whole child-like wonder for the world type thing. and ive realized im doing a good job living in the moment. 

so when i think about my fav month currently its spring because i look outside and fall in love with the world around me which happens to be in the spring season. spring always feels optimistic to me because as much as i am nocturnal i also love the daylight and now theres getting to be more of that, also my bday so thats cool. 

summer is dope as hell because thats when the most cool stuff can happen and also i like the weather and also with the whole daylight thing theres less night in general which makes it a lot easier to personally choose to be out at night while still being able to give my body that good old vitamin d.

fall is kinda the opposite of spring where everything starts ramping down and its becoming cozy time but you can still go out in just a sweater for a good while. also the memories i have associated with fall after this past year are exactly what i wanted (i had an absolutely bitchin fall this year)

and finally winter. this one is probably the most personal but i lived in ottawa last winter as well as this one and noticed some big changes. first and foremost i dont want to die anymore and starting to deal with my depression has removed all the brain fog i had to deal with last year. i remember going out to smoke this one time in january and was surprised i actually could feel the cold. it felt like it meant that things are different and i can actually survive anything this city can throw at me. ive been going out and meeting a lot of new cool people this winter also which is pretty dope. also its pretty and i like the aesthetic
