rambling about asagao academy, feeling nostalgic

Honestly? I feel so bad for the creators of Asagao Academy. There’s no way they could have predicted all of these absolute shitstorms. All they wanted was to make a fun dating sim based on this group of internet celebrities. Now it’s all ruined because some of them turned out to be assholes. I know the games been out for a long time now but these people slaved away, raising funds to support themselves in this project, using nothing but their own talents, and after all that released the game for free. And now it’s tarnished. This game is absolutely tainted, and it’s not really something that can be fixed.  And I can’t imagine how they feel about all this, having the rug pulled out under them and having the positive, wholesome experience of their game be undone. I can only hope that they move on from this mess and make other projects unassociated with awful people.
