Tried to play a scary game

I decided to try and play a scary game today but I ended up quitting and deleted it. The game was called Clownscapades  and I downloaded it from itch.io for free. It looked like it was going to be pretty fun despite being a horror game. It takes place in these sewers or something so I in all my genius decided to try and draw out a map to remember where I was. It was going pretty well until the actual game started and I remembered that I had to run from the stupid clown (but I was still kinda set on making that map so I was just pausing a lot). Only mere moments after hearing the approaching clown, my dad needed to tell me something I already knew so I had to pause it to listen to him. When I unpaused, I very quickly found out that the clown was RIGHT BEHIND ME and that fucker scared the shit out of me despite not even looking all that scary. So I quit the game and deleted it. I think I'll stick to watching other people play scary games, thanks.
