This time two years ago, I was establishing a routine and emerging from the initial depressed slump of quarantine into what would be my life for the next year. This time one year ago, I received my first dose of the vaccine, something that gave me hope for the first time in a long time. And now? To say I have everything back would be a lie because I've lost opportunities, moments, and most importantly parts of myself that I'll never get back. But I'm doing things that could have never happened then, and that's certainly a cause for celebration.
