Geocaching excursion!

I filmed a video of my geocaching excursion. It’s up on YouTube:

The video itself is a casual adventure and I feel like it really feels like you’re there with me!

The day I filmed this video was the same day I saw those cute mourning doves I posted about on my bulletins.

They were so adorable! They weren’t scared of us as we walked by. They just stared. 

After having some lunch, we went over to one of my favorite parks and we scootered around a bit so I could stop by some caches!!

I walked this path alone.

Into the woods to the geocache! It was such a beautiful day

The geocache itself is not on the official path, it’s hidden in the forest! I found a sort of path that I think is visible because others who have been looking for this geocache have been walking on it

So I follow that path. Unfortunately though, I do not end up finding this one geocache. Oh well, it was a very nice walk through the beautiful forest!

This geocache is called “little cache on the prairie” I believe.

This geocache is not rlly hard to find like that last one is. The walk is really the only challenge! I’ve only ever been to this cache one other time, and during that time of year, the grass was very high. I had to lunge through the grass making the already long walk even harder. 

I eventually make it to the lone tree out in the prairie.

This last part of the video was totally unexpected. As we were leaving, we spotted something strange on the path. At first we thought it was a scorpion or something, but after looking a little closer and for a little longer, we saw that it’s some crawdads! Not the most friendly looking creatures ever, but I was able to capture a video of them and yeah they look pretty scary.
