Wait,
Wait for me in the sun
Ill never catch up
No matter how far I run
So wait for me there
Because now I feel something so rare
But as I am closer in view
I see no sun or a trace of you
Now I only see a tall withered tree
I cry knowing this light
Will forever run from me
Now I sit alone under this withered tree
Thy shade so useless
With no sun to shine above me
But knowing Ill never catch that sun
Gives me no reason to run
Thy now I think this darkness
Was more fitting for me
Clearly now I see
It was always meant to be
For me to sit here endlessly
Fading away
Under this dark old withered tree
