art vent sorta

like rn making this dumb little fanart of abby from ncis and penelope from criminal minds it’s coming out like so good and almost exactly how i pictured it and even tho i’m pretty shit with anatomy i’m liking how i did it here

for a while i really didn’t like my art, mostly because it’s not super stylized imo its pretty generic and also i had trouble drawing things i liked i.e. anime fanart or making cute goth characters. i want to make them look cute and fun but my style isn’t really like that especially nowadays its just really plain so everything i would draw would come off like too serious

ANYWAYS i’m starting to like my art more, i do tho wanna go back and study anatomy again because that’ll help like a good 70%-80% of my art insecurity, i also need to learn perspective i suck at it so bad, i’ve been taught it before but i never got it hopefully this time i understand because i really wanna make cool perspective drawings and not just these stiff forward drawings
