Below here, I will be documenting my thoughts on the most popular manga that inspired many a generation: Berserk by Kentaro Miura.

Up until the end of the Golden Age Arc:
I thought initially it was going to be a cool short manga that I will read with friends and drop. The character Guts is really well written and I resonate with him on a personal level. Griffith's idea of a dream that he can hold on dearly is something everyone has in their own perspective. The fact that his men are willing to drop everything for his dream shows his power as a natural charismatic leader. Up until the Eclipse, I thought Griffith was going to be a real one and when Guts, Casca, and the rest of the Band of the Hawk saved him, I thought that was it for him and he is going to get back on his feet. But I was surely mistaken. When the Eclipse happened, my perspective of Griffith changed as he wasn't the man he was anymore.
