Small Artists Series- Tiny Umbrellas

Welcome to my small artists series, where i talk about some small artists work that i love.

I want to start of the series with someone i have recently started listening to and who has just recently released their first EP named 'Kalaidascope Towns'.

TINY UMBRELLAS 

I had the privalge to see and meet Tiny Umbrellas at the King Tuts when she was supporting Will Joseph Cook in his tour. While Wills Joseph Cooks concert was great, i was blown away by Tiny Umbrellas work, as I love Chill Indie music, it automatically resonated with me.

I also managed to buy her EP in a cassette version, which i was even more happy about because I collect cassettes and if you also collect them you know how rare they can be. 

Their music both live and recorded is amazing , she's very clearly passionate and talented, and her music is the definition of chill, mainly using ukelele and electric guitar Their EP has 6 songs on it:

1. Stardust

2. Purple Smoke

3. Please Don't Make This Weird

4.Insane

5. Tough to Be a Bug

6.Signal

While I listen to all 6 songs on repeat often on my walkman and cassette+ cd player, there's 2 that I simply love and are my favourites. 'Purple Smoke' and 'Stardust'.  Stardust is such a great song to relate to and one i fall asleep to some nights. Purple smoke is a much more bubbly song, the best way to descirbe it is, it simply feels like youre floating on clouds.

Dt is a very lovely person aswell, at the end of the concert, they signed my cassette and also had a conversation about her starting to crocheting a frog hat (i had my frog hat with me). She just gives off such a chill vibe.
