Hmm... well Im sure it wont be amazing but you could try drawing their pets anyway, Im sure they would appreciate it. 5 year olds scribbles up on the fridge kinda situation.
You could also create a collage of photos of their pets. You can use a bunch of tools for that from more professional image editors like Gimp(free) or mspaint or something. That would look cool even if you're not good at drawing.
