I (13 y/o 7th grader) am in a bit of a problem. At the end of eighth grade I will have the choice to enroll in a school that will prepare me for college. I want to be a teacher, so if I went to that school I would take childhood education classes a few times a week. It sounds like a really exciting opportunity HOWEVER my sister (who went to the advanced school) told me you wont meet much friends there and I have two really solid friendships that I don't want to ruin. I'm split between my friends who want me to go to the regular highschool, and my career which could really benifit from the advanced school in the future.

okay well like look at it this way, although ur sister says that she doesn't know who's going into this school yk? and u would be able to make friends that have similar interest as you. and I hate to say this but ur friends r low-key holding u back from what u want to do. If its a real solid relationship y'all should be able to figure out a way to still be friends even though u go to different schools :)
