i might go through a tornado /srs

i had to leave school wayy earlier then we normal do, like at 1:00. we were told that we were just gonna have a storm that might cause damage. (i think possibly bad-mild damage but idk) and other kids at my school said there would be a tornado. i'm very worried and anxious about this because around december, there was a very devastating tornado go through a part of my state. (it didn't hit where i live in the state thankfully, although we hardly missed it.) i'm horrified that we will have a tornado that will wreck where i live just as much. i may be acting dramatic, or maybe this fear is rational. either way, i'm terrified of losing my life, my things, my friends, my pets. thank you for reading this.
