i was reading about a rather interesting figure earlier today, john neal. he made one of the first major american publications "the yankee"

he was an early champion of human rights, woman rights, equality for all racial groups, gyms as a concept, sports, anti-lottery, anti-debt prison, really just all of those things.

he had lived such an interesting life, living to the age of 82, and in him i see me. so today we commemorate him, and what an interesting life he lived.
