My gram said that they pay 14 y/o $11 an hour. In my opinion, it's good to start off with!

it honestly depends where you work. some places will pay 15 dollars an hour, but when i worked there i was making 9.65. where i live, they will hire as young as 14. i would look up the labor laws where you live, or even go in and ask them directly
