Dragon Quest X - False Gran Zedora Gaiden

The story is pretty sweet, it follows a man named Tegram who was previously assumed dead as he charismatically gains the support of the kingdom's citizens. At the end, it's shown he's actually being controlled by Evil Anlucia's soul and trying to revive herself through his body. At this point, you stop her by fighting her again as you did at the end of 2.0.

It was nice to finally get some closure on all that stuff, plus the boss fight allowed the monster im training to be put to good use. It ends with Tegram telling the citizens that even though they're manmade creations, they can still make their own decisions and live their own lives. I thought that was really sweet, and its one of my favorite story tropes in JRPGs. 

I also began the Nokturnus questline but I only did the first quest to get it stamped on my card. Finally earned those 5 gold petals!

I also finished up 5.3 yesterday, which I'll make another blogpost about sometime this week. Yushka and Anlucia working together is like something out of my dreams!
