this con i got to (anime boston) is coming up and i’m so excited i haven’t been to it in like 2 years bc of that dumb b1tch covid but NOW i can go with my frens and get art and graphs uwu
i always say i’m gonna cosplay but then i never do :/ i’ve only cosplayed steven universe and mystery girl from steven universe
idk how to sew, style wigs, costume design, make weapons, or like ANYTHING that cosplayers can do, my friends have offered to help but i feel bad because them “helping” will actually be them doing it for me and me just in the background watching and i don’t wanna do that to them ://
maybe if i actually plan my money right and get some more confidence i might do some simple cosplays
(also kinda sad bc my ex and i had some couple cosplay plans that we were gonna try and do together and now we can’t :(( )

thanks! i’m super curious how they’re gonna have the con and still follow covid guidelines, i’m sorta expecting rooms to have limited capacities but right now where i am they lifted the mask ban and some stores stopped having signs about being 6ft apart, so i’m not sure. but i’m definitely gonna try to be safe and wear my mask!

I've always wanted to try cosplay i uhh have a more feminine physique so ya i just dont have the money for any of it
same with money! cosplay, even cheaper ones, are sooo expensive. i resorted to steven universe because i have naturally brown curly hair and i’m fat so all i needed was the t shirt that cost like $10 and i had blue shorts and red shoes and that was my cosplay LMAO
