bridge piercing done!

got my bridge pierced at the shop i talked abt in my last post! meant to update sooner, but had some things to take care of. moved my older sibling into their new apartment yesterday and fell down the stairs like a dumba$$ (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)

so! the experience was wicked awesomeヽ(>∀<☆)ノ the piercer was cool and chill as fuck, n shop set up was there was a lotsa crystalz n they paired it wit body jewelry as a pretty smart way to decorate the shop. there was also a board that said "brutal femme".

the dude who pierced me used a tool to measure my bridge, and felt for the anatomy. good thing i got a lot of skin/space there. we worked on the best placement for my anatomy since one eyebrow is higher than the other, n when i raise them only the middle of one side goes up. so it looks slightly crooked but we decided it was best. its more visually symmetrical in terms of depth.

i'll add better pix in the comments, or another post later on. wuz gonna add it here, but idk where i put my phone. the piercing itself hurt a lil more than i thought it would, considering most sources said it hurts just about as much as an eyebrow piercing. my eyebrow piercings felt like... nothing. and ive had it done twice. but it was pierced at a 12g, maybe thats why?  hurt more pushing the needle out to the other side than any other part. anyyyywho(re), the process was pretty quick, and i got to talk wit tha piercer for a little bit afterwards. almost forgot to mention tha dude is APP certified XD

he was wearing a shirt that had a buncha small (mostly genital) piercing pix on it that shaped like a diamond.

healing process isnt too bad so far. right after piercing, my forehead felt a lil weird but i think it was more mental than physical. also couldnt raise my eyebrows until today-ish(still trying not to so i dont interfere w the clotting). definitely swelled by the end of tha day. not over the length of tha bar, but pretty close. took some ibuprofen and i was fine. its been 3 days since initial piercing. its definitely still periodically lettin out a bit of blood, but veeeeeeeeeeery little. not unusual for tha piercing, but not used to that since it hasn't happened w any of my other piercings. tenderness is gone now so thts cool. apparently it takes 4-6 months to heal which is kinda annoying but whatevz.

my glasses haven't bothered it either. they dont quite reach up to where it is, unless i push it aggressively or smthn. ive just been wearing them less so, but thankfully i dont need my glasses to see most basic things. ill get into my aftercare a lil:
