welp. i was waitlisted to William & Mary (public ivy) and given "prefference" to Georgia Tech (public ivy) which means that if I apply as a transfer next year, they guarantee acceptance. UC- Davis didnt give me any money to go and UC - Santa Cruz's $8,500 scholarship doesnt cover their $60,000 tuition 💀. Ithaca college gave me a $25,000 scholarship and i would STILL have to pay $40,000 a year 😒.
Penn State didn't give me a dime.
Texas A&M waitlisted me (but i rejected cuz they're little bitches). University of Arizona and Arizona State University both gave me $8,500 but I got into better schools and that measly money does not come close to covering the expenses of attending, much less the price to travel between a west coast school and my east coast home. I got into James Madison University and George Mason University with scholarships but not full ride so fuck them too. I live in the state too so I know its already cheap but like... maam... I know damn well I'm in the top 25% of your applicants. Better give me some money 😭. So I think i'ma settle on Virginia Tech. Its a top 100 school (at #75) and its in-state which means the tuition is cut in half and I have $2,000 scholarship which knocks it down to $19,000 a year.
I was banking on William & Mary tho 😅 Imagine going to a public Ivy on in-state prices. Yeesh i would've gotten any job i wanted 😐
