Most religions have rules, and a day of the week set aside for prayer.
So how about this?
For people in the Kurka Sim'li, Wednesdays are holy days. The cult should have no beliefs that go against other religions, so instead of prayer, the day will be spent without eating chicken, and birds must be fed seed. Additionally, the official joining of the Kurka Sim'li is as simple as owning a fluffy easter chick, naming it, and drawing it a portrait to hang above your bed.
As the leader of the cult my chicken is named King Kurka.
But what about holidays in this cult? Simple. The Wednesday before Easter is the Kurka Den (chicken day) in which people celebrate the eggs and meat chickens have died to give us since farming became a thing, by cooking foods with egg in them.
