idk how this blog stuff works but i’m going to test it out by sharing an opinion i feel very strongly about.

Can we PUHLEASE all agree that ms Sharpay Evans was NOT the villain of the HSM trilogy?

Like all she did was serve looks, make bops and be incredibly passionate and dedicated to her goals and dreams?? This girl was so hard-working, so prioritizing yet they had the AUDACITY to hand her well deserved lead role to silly old Gabriella, who had nothing but a mushy karaoke song under her belt AND also had her nerdy science stuff going for her already. Like can we at least leave Sharpay some crumbs at least??

I can’t believe people think they can call Sharpay a DIVA when ALL of her tantrums were SO WELL JUSTIFIED. If my well deserved role i had been working for MY ENTIRE LIFE was given away to some SLOPPY, UNDERPREPARED girl who had ZERO EXPERIENCE, i would be FUMING and DEFINITELY would seriously injure someone. Yet Sharpay being the absolute SAINT she is, calms down, moves on and NEVER GIVES UP. She even decides to be the bigger person and WISH GABRIELLA GOOD LUCK. Yet people STILL dare to call her a “RICH DIVA WHO HAS EVERYTHING HANDED TO HER”.

Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure totally shows how Sharpay is NOT THIS AT ALL. She doesn’t even get into the university she SO WELL DESERVED because her scholarship which she worked her ABSOLUTE BUTT OFF FOR was instead handed to KELSI, who did nothing but write TWO SHIT MUSICALS and SLOW MUSH, and to her BACKSTABBING BROTHER who WASNT EVEN THERE FOR HER. (jk i still adore you ryan but seriously, kelsi??) But again, Sharpay is and ANGEL and is gracious about it, and NEVER GAVE UP. But you know who did???GABRIELLA IN HSM 2!!!!

Instead, Sharpay works at the school drama program, showing her DEDICATION and LOVE for the art, and then moves to New York to pursue her dreams of being an actress. Turns out, the casting director is more interested in her DOG! Again, Sharpay has been left with NOTHING LIKE SHE ALWAYS IS. 

But Sharpay is SMART AND DETERMINED, so she takes the opportunity and decides to become an ASSISTANT for one of the leading actors. She does ALL THE DIRTY WORK, NEVER COMPLAINS, AND WORKS HER TAIL OFF, because she KNOWS that having connections to these kinds of people, she has a better chance of becoming a part of SHOWBIZ. If this happened to GABRIELLA, she would’ve WHINED and SOOKED, sing some SAPPY song and then EVERYONE would PITY her and it would all be fine.

Sharpay is the kind of woman that ENDS UP BEING SUCCESSFUL. You can be sweet as pie, but if you come UNPREPARED, LATE AND THEN FREEZE ON THE SPOT LIKE GABRIELLA, you’ll NEVER get hired. If you have GOOD WORK ETHIC, DETERMINATION AND ARE HARD WORKING LIKE SHARPAY, you’re A LOT MORE LIKELY to ACHIEVE SOMETHING.

In conclusion, Sharpay was ROBBED, TORN DOWN and MISUNDERSTOOD the ENTIRE SERIES, but because of her DILLEGENCE, DETERMINATION AND DREAMS, she achieved the GLORY she so well DESERVED.

Sharpay is my inspiration and should be everyone’s.

I rest my case.
