Those were good times for me too. Old-school Myspace was the only real social media platform I've ever fully embraced, so very glad Spacehey now exists.
I found it far easier to connect to new friends with similar interests, and introduced me to a hell of a lot of great music I would've otherwise never been exposed to. Also loved using what little HTML skills I had gained to be able to customize my profile!
What did you find awesome about Myspace back in the day, and how does it make you feel nostalgic?

I guess the thing I liked most about Myspace, was the fact that it was a new way for us to come together and be social. We had never seen anything quite like it. You can connect with people who share similar interests, as you said. I believe later on they even implemented an instant messenger feature.
It could teach you html and coding skills. It was the new thing. Before Facebook and smartphones changed the world. I loved it.
