I have several Foo Fighters albums - Hell, I drove home from work blasting Medicine at Midnight - but my all time favorite has to be Sonic Highways. I have the cd, vinyl, & the DVD - which, if you haven't watched it, you have to. Seriously.

It's more than just behind the scenes of the album - it's all about the history of music, from each of the cities the band recorded in. The first time I saw it was years ago at a friend's house - she was looking for something to have on in the background as white noise, but by the time the first episode finished I was gone. I managed to watch most of it before I went out and bought the DVD a few months later.

My favorite tracks have got to be Congregation, Outside, & In The Clear (recorded in New Orleans, which is one of my absolute favorite places in the whole world). I'm watching Something From Nothing now, & it still blows my fucking mind. I'll most likely be annoying my neighbors all weekend playing my discs on loop - screw it.
