My take on “ American Psycho”[SPOILERS DONT CLICK IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED]

So I just finished watching the first American psycho movie and I have a lotttt of questions. Like how the HELLLL did he not get caught-? He killed so many people in one day that nowadays I just know that nobody would get away with that. Also Jane- the secretary- why did he pause and not kill her? Like he just let her walk away when he definitely had the chance to just get it over with 💀. On top of that he literally killed COPS. I’m confused as to why his lawyer said he had dinner with Paul Allen after Patrick apparently killed him. Then I googled it to be nosy and I read that theirs a whole theory that he didn’t kill anyone at all and that it’s just in his head, so then why the hell did Paul just leave… he had everything he could possibly want in the US to just book a flight to London and never be seen by his coworkers again, any why was their a vivid scene of Patrick disposing Paul’s body and having Paul’s apartment fullll of bodies that just vanished into thin air? These are questions I hope will be answered once I watch American Psycho 2… unless it’s just a remake of the first and not a continuation 😂
