I bought one tonight, and then I bought some accessories bc I have no self control! And I'm pretty fucking hyped. "Posting this on all my socials" kind of hyped.

I also bought an MCR shirt, so uhh... feels nice to be living in 2005 while everyone else is in 2021 I guess.

I totally want to bedazzle the case I bought for it, so I'm also excited to rub my grubby little artistic paws on that. This is kinda one of those Things™ where I can tell 90% of the people I know think it's weird? No teenager nowadays is like "I wanna listen to music on my IPOD NANO GEN 5!!". Actually up until about 2 years ago I'd only use mp3 downloaded to my phone to listen to music. My mom was a DJ and I like having the music files, but eventually I had to cave and move to spotify lol.

I honestly don't see myself as a toxic 00s trends gatekeeper. I kinda just enjoy enjoying the shit I liked back then. And I figure that since I'm still a teen for a few more years, I might as well get my embarrassing shit over with. So if you see me walking around with wired earbuds and an ipod nano– keep it to yourself.
