i almost got hit with a car

So i was biking to school yeah and there was a car coming from the right. the car slowed down so i thought i could go, but then they didn't stop. but they were already slowing down so they stopped easily and i just biked around the car. while i went on with biking, the car was riding besides me slowely. i thought the person in the car would get mad at me, because, i actually had to let the car go first. i stopped my bike and the lady was talking to me and se was supernice about, she was so sweet and apologized and i also apologized because it kinde was my fault. i was late for my test tho, but that was cool, because i explaned to the teacher what happend and they were cool with it and i was just a minute late
