PEOPLE PLEASER

I hate wanting to please everyone, but that is just how I grew up. I am so used to making sure that everyone around me is pleased. The other day my friends told me that they don't understand what I am going on about and implied that I should stop talking. Due to them saying this I decided to just shut up because I felt like that was what they wanted at that moment. I just wish there was a way to give up on trying to please everyone because at the end of the day it's impossible to please everyone around you. I got some advice the other day that I need to take in or I am just gonna end up as a walking dummy that people push around.
