first blog! about me

i'm not quite sure what to make for my first blog and since i have some time i figured i'd just write a little about me! my name is raven but i usually get called blue because of my username you can use either or! i love to make art and paint! my main painting media is acrylic i love to create texture and make it 3D. my drawing style is lots on ink doodles of animals or characters from the shows i watch! my most recent drawing was of hoodie from marble hornets it has been forever since i've seen the series and i heard someone mention it and decide to draw it. the most recent painting i'm working on right now is of an android girl but its not finished yet :{ when i finish it i'll probably post a photo of it and some of my recent drawings at the time. another thing about me is i love music! i love all kinds of music! the only types of music i don't listen to a lot of is country. my favorite genres are punk, post-hardcore, black metal, folk punk, and 90s emo! i picked up guitar last year and i am still learning the ropes of it but i love it. i hope to start a band one day with my buds and rock out at one of our local bars. i don't want it to be a big band i just want it to be a way for us to hang and express ourselves as one. we could be boo'd off stage and i'd still love the thrill of being able to preform. i've been writting lots of lyrics for a long time but since i've picked up a guitar i have been making tunes to them maybe when i can complete an entire song i'll post it. i hope too stay on the music path and continue this awesome adventure!
