More Instagram Drama

So my friend got into an argument with some person he used to be friends with alr, that’s fine it’s whatever. Now they spread around only one screen shot of the conversation and reported every post and message on his account. So he posted on his story asking me and a mutual friend of ours to talk since he wasn’t allowed to message anyone. On the call all he did was inform me of what happened and showed MULTIPLE screenshots. He was able to admit he said some messed up things and take responsibility for what he said in the proper context. They said some awful things to him as well. So that really only took like 5 minutes and the call went on about other things. Then the person he was fighting with messaged me. They was angry and thought we were all talking behind their back, keep in mind I only just found out who they were, plus no one was saying anything rude about them. But it’s understandable to be mad, so I’m not upset with them for that. The fact that they continued to be rude to me was my issue. I explained to them what happened on the call, I apologized, I even agreed with some aspects of what they had to say. So I thought we ended on a good note and that was it, and I would no longer be involved in the situation. Cuz I told them and my friend that I did not want to be involved. But the next morning in class they texted me and told me they were mad at me now for defending my friend. 1. Yeah he’s my friend who’s always had my back so I’ll do the same 2. He’s at least mature enough to show the full story and own up to the things he said, not just post 2 screen shots that make them look bad. So I tried being as polite as possible but they kept calling me stupid and saying I sound bitchy, I told them once, maybe twice that them insulting me was uncalled for, and they started saying how them defending themselves was “mean” and “uncalled for” according to me. I just told her that it was uncalled for her to insult me when I was trying to be polite, especially when this argument isn’t mine and they keep trying to drag me into this after I repeatedly said I didn’t want to be involved. She cherry picked the things I said, exaggerated them, and insulted me. The entire time (except the end) I haven’t insulted her, I apologized, I was polite, and I would try seeing her point of view. But she then had the audacity to call me obsessed and tell me to leave her alone when she texted me first both times. That’s when I snapped and called her a b*tch. Then I blocked her. Sadly not before she could report my account. The best part is, she shared the screen shots of our texts on her story where I was being polite and she was being rude for no reason, wasn’t even the part where I insulted her, like if ur gonna try and make me look bad do it right…don’t make yourself look like and idiot.
