Black Mamba The Last Knight Voyager Megatron

I really wanted this Voyager Megatron. Got Black Mamba The Last Knight Voyager Megatron, KO mostly because at the time, TLK figures were really hard to find, and were also marked up where they could be found. Plus I preferred Black Mamba's paint job. It highlighted a few things the official figure didn't and it removed the dubious light-piping replacing it with painted red-eyes. Oh and it didn't paint over the glorious fire-orange translucent cockpit.


The engineering on him is a thing of beauty! He does a good job of hiding all his jet-parts. Something many jet Transformers don't usually do that well. He's very un--Seeker like in construction. Yet fits alongside Robots in Disguise 2015 Warrior-Class Starscream surprisingly good. At least to me.

Since Hasbro is into doing callbacks these days, when it comes to Siege and Earthrise, I hope Transformers: Prime gets some love, and someone over at Hasbro thinks to retool this mold into Transformers: Prime/Aligned Megatron. The skeleton of this toy was built for it!

You know. I have no problem using TLK/Black Mamba Megatron as my default Megatron on my main shelf. Currently Classics Megatron holds that slot. However this is a good overall figure.
