Figured since no social media website or streaming platform (except for Bandcamp) has a space devoted to giving folks credit for the albums they've worked on, I thought this would be a good place to give credit where credit is due for our first album, Three Chords & the Truth as well as any info or fun facts I can think of.
The recording of Three Chords spanned from the end of 2016 and most of 2017 if memory serves. We went once and sometimes twice a week to Wayne, NJ to track with Skylar at Skylar Ross Recording. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and is an overall awesome dude. Look him up if you need audio engineering work done. We had Pete Steinkopf of Little Eden Productions out of Asbury Park, NJ mix the album and Greg Abate from Neon Audio in Lawrence, MA master it. Look them up as well. It was the first real, professional full length we've been a part of and it truly is a benchmark in how far we came as musicians at the time. As far as the musicians involved, Jake and Joe sang and played all the guitars on the album, Greg drummed for the whole thing and Joe Sozzo played bass and did the harmonica work. We also can't forget and thank Skylar, Jake Skees and Chris Danckwerth for lending us their voices for the gang vocals. And last but not least, Craig Cirinelli aka HouseWithoutWalls for doing not just this album art, but basically all our art we've ever had done.
