Yes I think Tangled is a better movie than Frozen. It is perhaps only lacking in having a catchy musical tune - Though it makes up for it in a solid story.
Why?
Simple. It has a story arc. Even secondary characters are allowed a payoff. And this is probably gonna anger some people, it follows a traditional structure.
Mother Gothal is allowed to be evil, without any hint of redemption, or explanation. Greed is her motivation.
Rapunzel is sheltered, a not perfect being. Though of course she grows over the course of the movie. This is OK. She saves herself to an extent, but only just a bit.
Our hero. And he is a hero Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert though hardly perfect himself is permitted to save the girl and is a lovable rogue in the mold of Han Solo.
I'll be upfront and admit. I've binge watched this movie before since it gives me the warm fuzzies. Probably my third favorite Disney film, after Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin.

I agree! I LOVE tangled more than Frozen and is also one of my favorite Disney movie! Lol I remembered having a crush on Flynn rider! XD

I love Tangled too and Rapunzel is one of my favs princesses (on first place there's Tiana :D). Also, I don't understand how could Frozen have so much success... I mean it's a good movie but there's better-
Much of Frozen's success comes from having an ear catching tune aka "Let it Go". But that's mostly it. The plot is actually really thin when you start to look at it closely.

Yes! I love Tangled, it's one of my favorite Disney movies to watch along with Big Hero 6. :] I've always wanted to have her long hair lol
The glowing longhair is also a great thing about this movie!
