today in English class I was sketching in my notebook(I only sketch in pen cause it's all I ever use), and the guy next to me who I'll call Dee motioned to my sketches and nodded. Yeah yeah I know, thats barely anything but people don't really compliment my drawings very often
(even though I think they look pretty cool most of the time). And it made it better knowing that Dee is a pretty good artist themself, they spend all day in every class drawing in their notebooks and gets scolded by teachers for it.
Idk, it just kinda felt nice to have some sort of validation for my sketches; I used to want to be an animator when I was younger but eventually I gave it up and leaned towards programming for awhile.
Thank you Dee for the minor confidence boost
