This is my first blog post! Yay!!

Today marks a big change of events in my life and in my sons life! My son starts daycare next week for his first time ever, and I’ll be working as a teachers assistant at this daycare! I won’t be working directly with my son but I’ll be in the same building as him and something about that makes me feel better about the whole thing… I’m anxious even thinking about someone else taking care of him and feeding him and entertaining him. I’ve been with him 24/7 since he was born in May 2020 so this will all be very new and different for the both of us.

This job opportunity is really great for me on a personal level because of the hours, which will allow for me to still be able to run my Depop full time and maintain my other streams of income without having to quit anything. I was able to master the art of making money through side hustles loooooong ago but I’ve been especially reliant on it since getting laid off due to covid March 2020 and not wanting to *work* up until recently. It’s been really refreshing and healing to be able to work strictly off my own schedule for 2 years, but now I feel confident in submerging myself in a routinely hourly job… I’m so excited for myself and for what the near future holds for me! Yay!
