we startin somewhere ¬.¬

I was so happy to find spacehey. I've been plagued by nostalgia and sadness for past (simpler) times for the past half year, and mourned that I never got the myspace experience. It was a bit past my time! Yet apps like facebook and instagram have always been lackluster in the social aspect, and while I love tumblr, people never seem to venture outside their own bubbles. I wanna meet cool people, man! 

It feels kinda weird to type and write in a way I've been consciously changing over the past few years. Like, I started off on the internet writing like a mini shakespear, then settled into common slang terms and symbols (xD, ^-^, lol) and then dropped them in fear of looking cringe. Bois, I reclaim them right now. They are my loves and help me display emotion, gimme a break! 

I just wanted to write a short post in celebration of making an account here. I'm tired and don't wanna write a lot, let alone introduce myself, but it feels good to have a chunk of writing laying down the scheme of how I wanna experience this site. Hopefully it works out! I'm happy we're creating a little earlier-internet hub here. This is something special!
