bull sharks

Bull sharks grow, on average, to be just under 8 feet long, however females can reach 11 feet!

Bull sharks are known for their bulky build, flat snout and ability to breathe in fresh water. They're found world-wide in shallow areas of coastlines, rivers and lakes; they typically arent seen under 98 feet and prefer water that's 20 degrees celcius.

Their diet consists mainly of bony fish, smaller sharks and stingrays, however they can eat things like dolphins, sea turtles, birds and crustaceans. They use the bump-and-bite technique, swimming around their prey and bumping or brushing against it and attacking until it can no longer flee. They hunt in dark, murky waters for easier ambush!
