french schools are literally so bad??? it's fucking exhausting, a normal day is 8:30am-5pm???? and the expectations are so high, everyone is a hypocrite and anyway i just want to get out of here someone help me

8:30 - 5:00 is average, I guess. You start extremely late, my school begins 7:40 and it sometimes ends between 1:15 and 5:00
Do you have a lesson free on midday?
if that's what meant, we have like an hour and a half to eat, but that's it and most of the time we only have like 15 minutes to eat in te cafeteria as other ppl need to eat and there's not enough space for everyone

Oh okay, we don't have a schedule like this, there is a meal in the cafeteria, but I've never tried it in 4 1/2 years xD
Most students buy sandwiches there or take their own food with them or buy it in the city. And we eat in class. There once was a prohibition to eat in class but it was always okay if we don't leave a mess and since Corona, it was scrapped
