Kpop is an industry full of hypocritical fans.

I could honestly talk about this for days, the amount of hypocritical kpop fans i’ve seen is insane. I listen to kpop but i’m not invested in it, i am in the kpop tiktok community though and what i’ve seen is people picking and choose on who to “anti” or “hold accountable.

Picking and choosing: This is one of the things that angers me the most, fans deciding to bad mouth other groups for the same things that their fav group is doing, like how does that even make sense?! You have no right to shame someone for liking a group thats just as problematic as the one you like its just common sense…

“Holding faves accountable”: I think many fans struggle to understand what holding your faves accountable really is, it isn’t just making a tiktok post about the things your faves have done… its not streaming, buying albums or supporting them in anyway that they can profit off of. If you make a tiktok about BTS’ racism and then go buy an album then u aren’t holding ur faves accountable.
