Miscellany Volume 1
Categories are weird on this site.
Anyway, yeah, I guess i could put all my mockups here because I'm not even sure what this site is really for.
By the way, everything here is in chronological order for no real reason. It just makes it neater, I think.
(1987) HumanFC
Based on the Sharp X68000's Human68k OS. Seemed like the only natural progression for Family Basic to go. Make sure you remember to hook up your Famicom Disk System for it to work, though.
(1997) Windows NT 4.1
If NT 4.0 was the NT equivalent of Windows 95, then this would be the NT equivalent of Windows 98. Also snuck in some Codename Nashville stuff in too.
(1997) Codename Halden
(1997) Mac OS Classic Live CD
(1999) Mac OS X NME
(2000) Codename Bogotá
(2000) Codename Destiny
(Though to be honest, I don't think they made Codename Destiny, to me it seems more like they found it from somewhere else, thought it was real, and put it in their video.)
(The only reason I did this was because it was brought to my attention in my Discord server.)
UXTheme Installer
I originally posted these on my Twitter, which I since deleted because honestly I hate Twitter.
(2002) Codename Tiger
My take on how Codename Tiger would turn out if it was actually real. I imagine they'd put Real DOS mode back in along with a bunch of XP assets. Basically just damage control, like what Windows 7 was for Vista RTM.
(2003) GameCube Internet Player
(2003) Windows 2003
(2004) .NET Workstation Family & Server Family
(2005) Nintendo Tako
My take on whatever the Nintendo Tako was going to be. Y'know, that alternate timeline Wii that was supposed to have the same overall hardware power as the PS3 and XBox 360.
I see this as a more "direct" successor of the GameCube than the Wii was, kinda like what the PS2 did for the PS1 or what the 3DS did for the DS. Having the GameCube's controller and memory card designs be a "standard" in that vain would have been awesome.
(2006) Xbox Handheld
I wanted something inbetween the resolution of the DS and the PSP for this one. I had no idea how to convey it being less powerful than the original Xbox, though. At least there's indexed colour textures.
Windows Themed XrossMediaBar
(2007) ReactOS Mobile 0.3.3
(2008) Longhorn 2000
Windom Millenium Edition 2 Serial Key Edition For Workgroups
This was made as a joke to emulate the "style" of those terrible Windows Never Released things made by actual children. I even wrote an absolutely sinful Fandom article on it as well on their bizarre wiki.
