Currently playing Pokemon Platinum(i've only ever played diamond from the trio) and Donkey Kong Country returns 3D! I've just begun Platinum and am super excited to see how it differs from diamond... it's been a long time since I've played any gen 4 game so I'm so excited to revisit it!! Also!! I've heard platinum is a vastttt improvement from diamond and pearl with additional story elements and sprite animations and EVERYTHING!! needless to say I am hyped!!
Regarding DK country returns... it has actually been beating my ass. I did not expect it to be this challenging like I played the original Donkey Kong country and THAT GAME beat my ass.. I went into it thinking it was going to be a bit easier, and in some ways it is, but in it's entirety, it really is brutal. BUT it's awesome how REWARDING it is too. I say this as a joke so much but genuinely like. Donkey Kong country is the dark souls to Nintendo platformers. Anyways, I'm on the factory world rn, so I should be close to beating it but wow. Level design, controls, everything is beautifully crafted. I can't wait to maybe put out a review on the game?? that would be awesome...
anyways... I'm listening to the new sweet trip album while writing this and I'm fr about to cry it's so beautiful goodbye
