Just like so many others, I'll be glad to see the end of this year . Honestly, it hasn't been catastrophic for myself , as I've kept on working and being able to support my family, and AK-47 have continued to practice off and on and write quite a few new songs . Writing is not the hard part , it's what to do with the finished product when you've done the recording.
For example, with the last AK release "Undefeated", I normally would have sent out a couple dozen of the discs to 'zines and radio stations, but it's just not an urge I have with everything at a standstill and no shows on the horizon , and Victoria's main alternative/punk/hardcore/metal bar "Logan's" , closed for good. So sad.
Whatever happens in 2021 , we will push forward with new songs and hopefully recording again also.
It's time get over the fear of corona and start doing things .
